The best thing about the start of a new year is the clean slate it brings with it. We’ve had time to evaluate what worked for us and what didn’t in 2017, and we’re better positioned to plan and improve our strategies—and maybe try something new.
Check out the digital marketing news I’ve curated for December see what looks intriguing. Is there something you feel would be a good fit for your business? A digital strategy you’ve been meaning to try? This is the perfect time—and it goes without saying that we’d love to help you out.
Well, I was right. November was also exhausting. But good news! We have now reached the final month of 2017! We’re in the home stretch!
This month, I’ve selected 25 articles for you on topics ranging from social media, branding, and pay-per-click advertising to competitor research, writing tips, SEO, and eCommerce.
You’ll also find a link to Google’s new Small Thanks program, specially designed to promote local businesses by pulling information and reviews directly from your Google listing and creating print-ready files for you.
I can’t decide if October was more like a marathon or just five sprints one after the other. Either way, it was exhausting! (And just between you and me, November looks like it’ll be the same. Pray for me.)
The good news is, I’ve got 22 articles selected for you this month on topics ranging from social media, branding, and pay-per-click advertising to content writing tips, SEO, and eCommerce. Look at me, saving you so much time. And if you missed my post on how to use traditional and digital marketing methods to support each other, now’s a good time to catch up!
I also want to point you to this fantastic report from CoSchedule, The Marketing Statistics You Need to Know to Be Successful in 2018. It is just brimming with helpful data and statistics! It didn’t fit into any of my other news categories, but I didn’t want to leave it out.
I’ve included a little Table of Contents this time in case you want to skip directly to what interests you. Happy reading!
It seems like there was a lot of news in September—I had a hard time narrowing this list down to a manageable size! I finally got it down to 21 and decided you just get an extra this time. (You’re welcome.)
As you know, I’m constantly crawling the web for digital marketing news to post on Twitter and Facebook, and at the end of the month I post a collected version for you just to make sure you don’t miss anything important. Topics range from social media, video, and email to SEO, ecommerce, and content marketing.
I pushed this month’s list back a week to make room for the last part of our email marketing series. But here you have it—the best 20 (+1) articles I could find for September!
To keep up with the news in real-time, follow Canopy on Twitter and Facebook! New articles are posted daily.
Part of what I do is keeping up with digital marketing news of all kinds. Staying abreast of new features and updated algorithms is necessary in order to help our clients more effectively.
Of course, not every article I read will be relevant to you—that’s what content curation is all about! At the end of each month, I’ll review what I’ve shared through our social media channels and choose the ones I think will be of the most interest and value to you for a brief recap—just to make sure you haven’t missed anything important.
Here’s to a great September!
