Matt Johnson has been part of branding Canopy and consulting clients on their digital strategy since the company was little more than a good idea. He is responsible for putting together the face of Canopy Digital in order to properly convey the company’s goals, skills, and intentions.
Before working at Canopy Digital, Matt worked for international brands from coast to coast, most notably spending time in New York working as a Creative Director and Project Manager for various multi-million dollar brand houses.
In his free time, Matt stays hard at work. He moonlights as a freelance illustrator and creative writer. He’s just finished shipping his second self-published [kickstarter funded] art book and regularly produces illustrations and creative copywriting for clients worldwide. He is also overseeing fundraising efforts and brand strategy for Water282, a Montgomery-based non-profit that specializes in drilling fresh water wells for villages in Zambia.
